People who agree that they require any assistive technologies still quality for the free upgrades from Windows 7 or 8.1 to windows 10 until Dec 31, 2017. After that, all users will need to pay $119 for Windows 10 home upgrade or $199 for Windows 10 Pro.
“Assistive Technologies” is a pretty broad and loosely defined category. It includes such features as a magnifier to better see the screen, a narrator to read text aloud, keyboard shortcuts or the on-screen keyboard. These features provide additional accessibility to individuals who have physical or cognitive difficulties, impairments, and disabilities,”
If you don’t choose to agree that you will sometimes prefer any assistive tech but want to upgrade then feel free to send your $119 or $199 to Microsoft. There is no known deadline to send optional money to Microsoft (or to me for that matter. LOL)

On a Windows 7 or 8.1 device just browse to: “Windows 10 free upgrade for customers who use assistive technologies.” Click on the Upgrade now button. Run the executable file to install the upgrade.
